Game Rules
✨ Be Respectful and Considerate to ALL.
Everyone is expected to treat each other with respect and consideration, including both players and moderators. As an invite-only game, we strive to create a safe, relaxing, welcoming, and kind environment. We understand that disputes and disagreements may arise; however, effective communication is essential in any collaborative activity.
If you find that a situation cannot be resolved on your own, please do not hesitate to contact the moderators. We will evaluate each case individually and mediate towards the best course of action for all parties involved.
✨ Invitations and reserves.
All current players are welcome to invite new players. However, invitations must be approved by the mod team before a new player can reserve a character. As a private game we, the moderators, reserve the right to deny an invitation or remove a player from the game if we determine they are exhibiting unacceptable behaviors or have a history of bullying, harassment, disrespecting others' boundaries, or exhibiting hostile behavior.
✨ No Power-modding or Info-modding
Unless all parties involved explicitly agree, one character should not use information that is not readily available to them, nor should they attempt to use their powers on another character without permission. Additionally, unless a player has specifically allowed for breaking the fourth wall, this should also be respected and should not be incorporated into the game.
Powers and abilities are not altered during arrival. However, we do ask players to maintain respect and awareness for the game's setting. Characters with world-breaking or reality-altering abilities should not use those powers inappropriately.
It is always better to err on the side of caution. If you are unsure about using a character's powers or information, it's best to ask the player for consent before proceeding. Here in Iyashikei, the Council is the ultimate power and will step in to put a stop to anything that would hurt the world of Iyashikei.

Players are not their characters nor does their playing that character mean condoning their actions. You are expected to be courteous and considerate to the player regardless of negative CR or canonical history between the characters.
✨ Do not abuse the Check-in AC
Iyashikei aims to be a relaxed and welcoming game, taking into consideration the busy and stressful lives of all its players and moderators. However, if we observe a consistent pattern of players squatting on characters, we will intervene and take appropriate action as needed.
✨ Use appropriate content warnings.
For the comfort of all players, please use appropriate content warnings for any material that contains the following: sex, violence, non-consensual acts, abuse, alcohol or drugs, or other sensitive subjects. If it is something you believe may require a content warning, it’s better to be overly cautious. In addition, please respect players who express a desire for specific content warnings. Use appropriate content warnings when addressing the mod team as well.
Finally, Iyashikei is a sex-friendly game; however, we do ask that explicit sexual content take place in your character's inbox or journal rather than main log community.

Due to the nature of roleplaying games and the potential for mature content that may be inappropriate for younger audiences, we require all players to be over the age of 18.
✨ Rule Violations:
Upon being notified of and verifying a violation of these rules, the following actions will be taken:
1st Violation: The player will receive a reminder about the specific rule that has been violated from one of the head moderators.
2nd Violation: The player will receive a final warning regarding the rules of the game, along with their second strike.
3rd Violation: Due to repeated violations, the player will be removed from the game and banned.
Please note that certain cases, such as a severe violation of the rules—any action that is overtly threatening or endangering to another player— may result in an immediate ban.
