Do you have any plans for this character in the game? I'm looking to have Alice become part of a found family, it's one of my all-time favorite tropes to play out and she's very easy to do that with.

    Character Information

Character's Full Name: Alice Pleasance Liddell
    Character's Pronouns: She/Her
Character's Canon: The books: Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass
Character's Canon Point: After returning from the looking glass
    Character's Age: 7
Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Yes, she did! She likes to help and she was especially curious about this new world.
Will they need any special accommodations upon arrival? N/a

Character's History: Wonderland and the Looking Glass
    Character's Personality:
Imagine, if you can, the most curious person you know. Now imagine, for the moment, how much their curiosity gets them in trouble, the adventures they get involved in, the things they discover and uncover, and even the types of people they might meet. Continue to imagine, what might happen if that most curious person was also given an imagination able to create worlds; not just worlds, but people and creatures within it to a fine detail. And that imagination doesn't stop there, oh no, that imagination can also create notions and concepts that can seem quite mad. This most curious and imaginative person might seem a little mad themselves. Well, all that was just imagined, the curiosity, the imagination, and even the little bit of madness, is, in fact, all in one person. A child named Alice Pleasance Liddell of Oxford England, to be precise.

Alice is a very bright and cheery-natured little girl. She’s always trying to find the silver lining of a situation. She tries not to let anything bother her for too long or too much. Alice will actually berate herself if she gets too upset over something she thinks should be trivial (this will sometimes induce more tears). She will also endeavor to help other people find something positive about a situation since she doesn’t like the idea of people being downtrodden for very long. If she sees that someone is having a hard time, Alice will actually try and help them; be it as simple as making them a cup of tea or helping take care of them and help with their problems. However, Alice tends to over-simplify a problem. If a problem is much more nuanced than she believes it to be, she will insist that adults are over-complicating the matter.

Whether she wants to be or not, Alice is emotionally and verbally very honest. She tries not to lie to anyone, even if the lie would be better to tell. She is not unable to lie per se, but it’s more that her mouth speaks before her mind can decide what to say. This results in her being quite blunt and sometimes says insensitive things.

As for emotional honesty, everything Alice feels, she feels deeply and enthusiastically. She doesn’t hide what she is feeling even though she’s been told it’s “not ladylike” to be so openly emotional. Alice is also honest in what she thinks of people. If she thinks that what you are doing or saying is nonsense or even stupid, she will say so without much hesitation. If Alice is fond of you, she is an incredibly physically affectionate girl. If she should happen to fight with someone she is close to, she will be mad at first and then endeavor to apologize since she doesn’t enjoy being at odds with those she loves, the same cannot be said for strangers.

Alice won’t let herself get pushed around for very long. She can be bullied to an extent because she generally tries to be polite, however, if she is pushed too far (and it doesn’t take much sometimes), she becomes persnickety and even snarky in her actions and replies. Alice is not afraid to fight verbally fight back and never really tries to "rise above it." She doesn’t care if you’re a king, noble, or some mythical creature, she won’t let herself be intimidated. She will even insult back, although her insults, while creative, are childish in nature. Her full temper may even be brought out if the fight is continuous or she thinks that someone’s stupidity and nonsense are outrageous. If Alice no longer wants to fight or she thinks that something is complete drivel she will walk away and ignore the thing completely. Her temper, while not violent, is easy to pull out of her.

Alice can actually be an outright brat if she’s pushed far enough or she feels something is rather unjust, and she won’t care that she’s a brat until much later (if at all). Generally, she is a sweet girl and doesn’t actually enjoy insulting people or being insulted. She strives to be polite and courteous, but she may say rude things, or catch herself saying something she shouldn't because she knows no better. If informed she's being rude or childish, she will strive to improve but her age does limit her. She's incredibly prone to self-correcting, although there are times her self-correction make her cry. Her tears are often out of frustration and less likely to ever be from fear.

In fact, Alice can feel quite fearless in certain situations, as any child might, feeling themselves invulnerable to many things. That isn’t to say Alice isn’t scared of anything. She’s actually petrified of the dark and the prospect of someone dear to her getting hurt can terrify her along with a list of other things (extremely large bugs are on said list). On a whole, however, little frightens her.

Perhaps, some of the biggest, if not the biggest, things about Alice is that she is inquisitive and very imaginative. It is because of her huge imagination and her curiosity that her adventures even take place. She will allow her creativity and curiosity to take full effect and dictate her actions until both are sated. Her curiosity rarely, if ever, takes a side seat to a situation that causes her all the trouble in the first place.

Her curiosity, in fact, can make her reckless to her own body. For example, she will drink a bottle labeled "DRINK ME" or a cake labeled "EAT ME" for the mere curiosity of what it would do to her and if it would possibly help her towards her goals. It is also her curiosity that allows Alice to adapt to a situation and generally go with the flow of everything around her. She has extremely vivid flights of fancy and is fond of games and pretending and is extremely playful. She loves a good game and adores an even better riddle. While she prefers things like tea parties and group activities, Alice is certainly more than capable of entertaining herself. Unfortunately, said imagination and games can get her into trouble since, as stated, her personal regard for safety will sometimes be overlooked for the sake of satisfying her curiosity and whims.

Alice is also a peculiar mix of extremely naive and yet very logical. She will trust and listen to someone very easily until something presents itself not to trust them and her willingness to trust makes her easy to manipulate since she places full faith in most adults. However, she will also use her logic to make an argument against someone, adult or otherwise. Her logic can cause her to be extremely stubborn, when pressed, it's hard for her to shake her beliefs. Alice may have an interesting mix of logic and naïveté, but overall, she's incredibly clever. She's highly skilled at riddles and chess.

    Character Abilities:
    • Alice has no abilities as far as fighting and magical powers go (unless you were to count her vast imagination). However, Alice is quite adept at baking at her age. It wouldn't be anything terribly fancy, but basic sweets, tea, and simple dishes are well within the realm of her capabilities.

    • She can also do some minor sewing and embroidering because it's what a proper lady "should know." She knows fluent French and a little Latin. In general, anything that a young lady would know of her era she either knows or was learning it (or going to learn it).

    • Alice also makes amazing daisy-chains and flower crowns.

    • Well versed in poetry and stories and able to recite them easily.

    • Her BEST ability is that she is extremely talented at riddles and chess, well beyond for someone her age.

Do you have any plans for this character in the game? He's gonna collect all the Disney characters, and watch those villains, and probably go to school, and help where he can! Sora's great at making friends and I am here for found family for him. Let him take a break from the intense hero work for a bit.

    Character Information

    Character's Full Name: Sora
    Character's Pronouns: He/Him
    Character's Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Character's Canon Point: Post Kingdom Hearts Re: Mind; after fighting and winning against Yozora
    Character's Age: 15
Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Yes, Sora is always answering the call to help people, and well... a magic owl delivered him a letter! How could he not be curious what that was about?
Will they need any special accommodations upon arrival? No

Character's History: Let your heart be your guiding key.

    Character's Personality:

    Questions:

    1. Tell us about who your character is and what someone’s first impression would be upon meeting them. How would your character act once someone got to know them?

Sora gives the first impression of being a friendly, upbeat, helpful teen who wants to become a true hero with a slice of naivety thrown in for good measure. He seeks out people in every world he goes to and often ends up befriending them, even if some of them are a little rough around the edges. While visiting each world, he has done his best to protect the people in and save them from the Heartless and falling into darkness. Making friends is easy for him with his cheerful attitude, and he's willing to help them in a heartbeat. Sora strives to be a true hero, though he's been stuck at Jr. Hero for quite some time due to setbacks. There's no danger he wouldn't face with his friends by his side, and there are plenty of things that he's naive to - such as romantic love all through KH3.

Underneath, Sora is a sincere individual who is always willing to lend a hand. He never asked to become a Keyblade Wielder, but he opened his heart to someone who was sad and that gave him the ability. It was a role and duty that he took on, despite the many hardships he would undergo, and one he takes seriously. Sora is driven to help his friends, but simply keeps making more along the way and comes to genuinely care about them. While bummed by all the times he's had to start over learning abilities, Sora shows endless determination and courage to do it all over again. He has an optimistic sort of personality for the most part, only sliding into depression and sorrow in extreme circumstances.

He has a very forgiving heart, and while Sora has no patience for those who would seek to do harm to others - so long as he feels they are genuine in their remorse and willing to do better, he will forgive people. Yet Sora also has a temper hidden under his otherwise cheery personality, best shown in Chain of Memories when he gets angry with Donald and Goofy to the point of leaving them. He isn't very good at hiding his feelings, often showing his emotions upon his face and when angry, his hand will clench into a tight fist.

    2. What is something unique and interesting about them, or what is a fun little tidbit that sets them apart from the crowd?

Sora loves pirates. While he doesn't get along well with the true rough and rowdy, will betray you for a coin kind of pirate, Sora was ecstatic to play among the waves with Captain Jack Sparrow. He was even able to get his own boat in his last adventure in the Caribbean and was happily humming a sea shanty. Christmas also seems to be one of his favorite holidays and he was happy beyond belief to meet Santa Claus in one world, even if he stopped believing some time ago.

Over the course of his journey, we find that Sora has and learned many skills. Singing, dancing, cooking, skateboarding, random tricks, gummiship driving - he does it all. He seems to enjoy learning new skills and keeps an open mind to new experiences. It can lead to some interesting combination of abilities (quick time events) where he suddenly uses a whole chandelier to attack an enemy.

    3. What does your character think their flaws are? What do they think their strengths are? What are their actual flaws and strengths?

His most famous line is that his friends are his power, and he knows it. This is both a strength and a flaw that he is aware of and is his actual one as well. His friends are the driving force behind his entire journey as he sets out to find both Riku and Kairi. Over the course of his journey, Sora makes many more friends along the way, often relying on their strength in battle and the connections he makes with them. He will go to extreme lengths to save them and look after them, even doing his best to help their friends that he hasn't met yet. Sora has unlocked his own heart to create a Heartless and Nobody so that he could save Kairi in KH1, he has risked his own existence to bring back his friends in KH3 and Re:Mind, and even chased after visions during DDD that resulted in him diving too deep into the dream and putting himself in the Organization's hands. Yet he's also saved so many worlds, new friends, old friends, and even enemies because the bonds he has make him stronger.

However, he is also keenly aware that this is a weakness for him - as there have been multiple instances where he's lost his friends in some way and simply broken down. Often times, Riku is the one who steps in to save him in some way, whether that's getting his memories restored or physically defending him from an attack. Donald and Goofy have both also risked their life to help save Sora from those moments where he just freezes up. The sacrifices Sora has made for his friends have caused many side affects to happen: Rage Form where Sora is overtaken by his Darkness and becomes reckless in fights, the constant loss of his abilities and having to start over, or the self-sacrificing and needing a rescue. Sora just feels the loss of his friends too keenly and it can even result in him getting angry and snapping at the people who are trying to help.

Sora often follows his heart, which is how he ends up in most of these situations. It leads him into danger and has him making reckless mistakes where Sora ends up sacrificing himself for the people he cares about. While Sora would never deny following his heart, it's just a good thing that he has friends who can help him out in return. Yet it also steers him in the right direction in the end, allowing him to protect more than just his friends, but whole worlds and Kingdom Hearts too. His bonds are so strong they reach across time and make him that much stronger.

    4. What is a common misconception other characters have about your character?

KH3 showed us a lot of Donald and Goofy teasing Sora about being a half-pint and how three half-pints make a whole. That he's not a true hero. But together they make up a hero, and while that may be true in some aspects such as how he continuously loses his abilities and does rely on his friends, Sora is the one everyone seems to depend on in the end. He is the one who saved Riku, Mickey, and Aqua from the Realm of Darkness, he is the one who saved Kairi's heart, who sacrifices his own power and life to save the people he cares about, who reached Xehanort after defeating him. And while there were friends at his side for the majority of the time, he's the one who carries the weight. Sora is already a hero where it really counts, his heart.

Sora is not all sunshine and light, he too struggles with the darkness in his heart. While he fights for the light, and makes the gummiship run on happy faces, he is just a person underneath it all. He feels sorrow, heartbreak, anger, mistrust, who gets scared but faces down powerful enemies anyway. After Ventus' pure light heart is returned to him, Sora does become more serious - and while that could be due to the upcoming fights - I'm interested in exploring what Sora is like now that the Heart Hotel is empty and there are no longer outside factors that can influence it other than the connections he makes with people in his life.

Do you have any plans for this character in the game? Having this weird man re-adjust to a society that's, y'know, not Hell will be spectacular. He's spent way more of his existence in Hell than he did on Earth, so going back to something that's more similar to that old mortal life will jar him. But hey, maybe being away from all those bad influences will be good for him??? We can't fix him because Hell was never the problem, but we sure can try to slap some duct tape on the cracks and see what happens.

    Character Information

Character's Full Name: Vox (previously Vincent Whittman)
    Character's Pronouns: He/him
    Character's Canon: Hazbin Hotel
    Character's Canon Point: Post-season 2
Character's Age: In total it'd be around 120 years old, but he spent somewhere between 40 and 50 of those years alive and the rest of it dead. So... Y'know.
Did your character willingly come to Iyashikei? If yes, why? Kind of. He briefly considered it might be nice to get away from the mess he made, and that was interpreted as acceptance.
Will they need any special accommodations upon arrival? A new body, as permitted by the mods and already being used in the TDM.

    Character's History: Wikia link

    Character's Personality:
    Questions:

    1. Tell us about who your character is and what someone’s first impression would be upon meeting them. How would your character act once someone got to know them?
Though it does depend on the context of the first meeting somewhat, Vox tends to put up a public-facing front, especially when meeting strangers. There's a reason he's the face and voice of Voxtek. When he puts his best foot forward, he can be charismatic, enthusiastic and really speak to what it is he thinks people want to hear. This man showboats like you wouldn't believe and so long as everything goes his way, he'll draw everyone's good faith towards him like a magnet. It's no wonder he had a cult-like following both in life and in death.

What'll become obvious once someone gets to know him is that he's actually an incredibly troubled, dangerous individual. The facade is broken with (laughable) ease to reveal someone who's bitter, volatile, self-absorbed and paranoid. Whatever good nature was once in him is long dead and buried, leaving a demon in the literal sense of the word. Vox is damaged goods and once there's no need to play pretend anymore, he'll let people know it in the worst ways. He can play nice when the situation calls for it, or he can throw a fit. While he does have people he cares about, like the two other Vees, he fails to fully connect with them, still keeping them at a certain arm's length and seeing them more as assistants than actual partners. There's a lot to say about that, but let's just boil it down to an internalized belief of 'relying on other people makes you weak'.

    2. What is something unique and interesting about them, or what is a fun little tidbit that sets them apart from the crowd?
Vox is a trendsetter in every sense of the word. He really does know what the people want, and has a good hunch for what will be popular. When he was alive, he was already pushing for investing in color television before those were mainstream, and suggested things like 24/7 news and Shark Week (the Discovery Channel thing) in the 50s, which is a good three decades before we actually got them. Voxtek very much leans into that same thing, offering the people of Hell exactly what they want. It's implied that Vox is responsible for quite a few technological advancements in Hell, and likely also brought Earth media to the masses, since Voxtek has apparently been pirating Heaven's and Earth's channels for decades. Vox himself is a cinephile who supposedly also likes watching commercials and game shows (source: Vivziepop herself), so even after 75 years in Hell, he knows what all the latest trends on Earth are.

    3. What does your character think their flaws are? What do they think their strengths are? What are their actual flaws and strengths?
Flaws??? Ha ha what are you talking about, Vox has no flaws! Anything that ever goes wrong in his life is someone else's fault and there sure as hell isn't a gaping hole deep within him, don't be silly. As for his strengths, he has lots of them. He's smart and good-looking and strong, so he's destined to lord over all those other weaklings in Hell. That's what he would insist, anyway.

Vox's actual major flaw is his major insecurity issues, coupled with his megalomania. He lives in this constant delusion that he's the most powerful, most clever person in the room, only to react very poorly when he's confronted with the fact that he's, well, not. Vox has an incredible need to keep proving that he's Hot Shit because he needs the validation. Alastor takes advantage of this in season 2 by manipulating Vox up close over the course of several episodes, insisting over and over that Vox is going to fail and that he hasn't gotten anywhere without the help of others. These accusations hit Vox so hard that he doubles down on his attempts to become the strongest sinner in Hell, casting his partners aside to 'prove' he doesn't need them. He had a perfectly good plan which involved sharing the spotlight with the other two Vees, but Alastor jabbed his insecurities so hard that he completely pivoted into a mindset where he alone is the strongest. He has to prove that he can stand at the top and be God, because he can't live with himself if he were to fail. The more resistance he gets, the more he pushes back, and this ensures conflicts escalate very quickly. Vox gets insulted, he tries to squash the source and next thing you know, he's ready to take out himself and half the city just to silence the one person who kept antagonizing him.

His actual major strength is his ingenuity. His ability to take any situation and spin it in his own favor. Using the information gained from a spy who went totally unnoticed since season one, he manages to get all of Hell's sinners on his side by consistently turning situations around to make himself look better, and even captures Lucifer Morningstar to use him as an essential tool in a way that most people wouldn't think to do. As said in an earlier question, he really knows what people want and plays into that. If what they want doesn't exist yet, he'll spearhead the initiative to make it exist.

    4. What is a common misconception other characters have about your character?
One of the misconceptions is that Vox hates Alastor because of some petty little grudge. Valentino assumes Vox is 'still pissed that Alastor almost beat him that one time' (unclear what this refers to, but it sounds recent). Alastor himself describes it to Vox's followers as 'he's pissy because he asked me to join his team and I said no', which is a little closer to the truth but still far from it. There's far more nuance to this than a simple rejection.

We learn through the song Brighter that when he was still alive, Vox would take matters into his own hands. He was always jealous of others, acted alone and didn't have a shred of empathy. Vivziepop confirmed there was also some internalized homophobia at play, so Vox really just never had any meaningful connections. Then he got to Hell and met Alastor- a man who didn't judge, because he was very similar to Vox himself. They were all branded as sinners, so all those societal norms that once shackled him didn't matter anymore; he could be more like his true self. Instead of seeing Alastor as an obstacle to dispose of, he instead began to see the radio demon as someone inspiring. Someone to be his equal, to share the spotlight with. Vox genuinely believed that for the first time in his life, he had a friend and that they could be partners. He got over all his selfish pride and showed vulnerability for the first time, only to be laughed at, which laser targeted every single insecurity he had about how other people viewed him. He was accused of being weak and pathetic for even wanting something as basic as friends, let alone more than that. So basically, Vox was opening up, trying to be a more genuine version of himself, and Alastor did the equivalent of throwing a grenade into that opening. It destroyed every shred of hope for a genuine connection that Vox still had left. From that point on, Vox made it his mission to repay Alastor in kind for all the damage that was done.

So... Yeah. Little bit more complicated than a petty grudge.
